About The Position

THEATRE UTILITY WORKER – SERVER Hours: Variable Fast, friendly, and focused on delivering a professional bar experience What You'll Do Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the Foellinger Theatre while supporting bar operations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with venue and legal alcohol service policies. Assist with bar setup, breakdown, stocking, and barback duties to keep service running smoothly throughout events.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Prior bartending or beverage service experience required
• Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service
• Knowledge of Indiana alcohol service laws and City policies
• Ability to follow simple oral instructions, maintain bar organization, and execute routine processes

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a live theatre or concert venue helpful
• Bar support or concessions experience helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages responsibly while performing accurate ID checks
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked bar areas, supporting bartenders and rotational barback duties
• Operate POS systems, complete transactions accurately, and manage cash handling securely
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown, restocking ice, cups, and beverages during events
• Communicate professionally with guests, supervisors, and team members while responding quickly to service needs
