About The Position

THEATRE UTILITY WORKER – FRONT OF HOUSE Varies Friendly, attentive, and ready to help every guest have an exceptional experience What You'll Do Support all guest-facing operations at the Foellinger Theatre, ensuring patrons have a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming experience. Assist with gate entry, seating, crowd flow, and general event support while collaborating with Box Office, Facilities & Grounds, and Parks & Recreation teams.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Basic understanding of event operations, simple work processes, and use of basic tools
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain professional composure in fast-paced environments

Nice To Haves

• Customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Experience in live theatre or concert venue helpful

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, provide directions, and assist with seating, ADA accommodations, and general event information
• Operate gate entry processes, including ticket scanning and troubleshooting entry issues
• Monitor crowd movement, aisles, stairs, and exits to ensure safety and compliance with venue rules
• Support FOH Lead, Box Office, and Guest Services with communication and event operations
• Assist with pre-show briefings, program distribution, lost-and-found, and general venue support
