About The Position
Only current Lipscomb Theatre students can apply for this position. Students will be responsible for assisting the master electrician, lighting designer, and production manager in the execution and maintenance of the lighting and audio for the Theatre Department productions. May be federal work study eligible.
Requirements
- Must be a current Lipscomb Theatre student.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and use other personnel lifts.
- Understanding of basic electrical principles.
- Knowledge of theatrical lighting and audio equipment.
- Must have taken a lighting practicum.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the master electrician, lighting designer, and production manager in the execution and maintenance of the lighting and audio for the Theatre Department productions.
- Supervising lighting practicum student crews during load-in and strike.
