About The Position

The purpose of this role is to prepare the Hampton Coliseum, the American Theatre, Charles H. Taylor Art Center, and the Hampton Aquaplex for events, and to perform general maintenance and housekeeping duties. The class works under close supervision according to set procedures. Requirements

High school graduation or successful completion of GED.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria.
Must successfully pass a background check before any offer of employment or promotion.

Nice To Haves

One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in building maintenance or a closely related experience is preferred.
