About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Thai language teacher for a one-to-one general course in Colorado Springs, CO. The course will consist of 10 sessions, each lasting two hours, for a total of 20 hours. The lessons will be held at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Colorado Springs. The student is a 45-year-old gentleman who is a beginner in Thai and plans to visit Thailand. The ideal schedule is once per week, preferably on a weekday morning, with a start date as soon as possible. The schedule and location may be flexible.
Requirements
- Native Thai speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Colorado Springs, CO.
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
- Meet the stated conditions for the role.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Thai language instruction to a beginner student.
- Conduct lessons at the teacher's office/home or a public location in Colorado Springs.
- Adapt teaching methods to the student's motivation for visiting Thailand.
