About The Position

This is a part-time position focused on receiving, sorting, pricing, tagging, and stocking donations to ensure the efficient operation of a fast-paced retail store. The role involves maintaining quality standards and contributing to the smooth flow of merchandise from donation to the sales floor. The position reports to the Store Manager and/or Production Manager and requires adherence to company core values and mission.

Requirements

• Tactful communication with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to frequently bend, twist, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with current clothing, shoe styles, furniture, toys, brand names, etc.
• Adherence to standard retail practices and dress code.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to utilize light industrial equipment including: Tagging gun, stickers, tags, standard office supplies, Pallet stacker, pallet jack, Compactor (must be 18 to operate).

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, price, and tag donated textiles at a minimum rate of 80 pieces per hour (PPH), maintaining quality standards.
• Retrieve and turn in Textile Production Sheet at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Transport carts containing items to be processed.
• Process donations promptly.
• Dispose of trash into designated True Trash receptacles.
• Organize racks for efficient stocking.
• Daily recording of PPH for tracking purposes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
