About The Position

Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Textile Processor. The role involves sorting, preparing, inspecting, and pricing donated apparel and textiles to meet quality standards and keep stores stocked with merchandise. The work supports Goodwill’s job training, education, and community programs. The processor also provides customer service, maintains an efficient and safe work area, and assists with apparel rotation and merchandise placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with donors and shoppers.
• Sort, price, and hang donated apparel and textiles.
• Recognize brand names, designer labels, and quality levels to price items accurately.
• Inspect clothing for stains, tears, missing buttons, and other defects before placing it on the sales floor.
• Meet production goals of 80 or more pieces per hour and process items efficiently.
• Keep processing and sorting areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with apparel rotation, dressing room upkeep, and merchandise placement as needed.
• Follow Goodwill safety, security, and operational policies.
