About The Position

The Textile Material Associate supports and partners closely with the Textile Materials Developer in the research, development, sourcing, and approval of textile materials for BPS proprietary apparel brands. This role collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional partners, including Product Development, Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Quality.

Experience in Centric/PLM system a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and organize the internal material library, including fabric specifications and development records.
Create, maintain, and upload Fabric Information Sheets (FIS) and related material specifications within the Centric PLM system.
Support Textile Material Developer in fabric sourcing and development activities with suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
Manage, track and monitor development timelines and coordinate with suppliers to ensure sample yardage, testing, and approvals remain on schedule.
Track fabric testing results and collaborate with the Hong Kong Testing team to address and resolve issues.
Assist Textile Material Developer with material development across all BPS proprietary brands.
Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
