The Owned Brand Product Design & Packaging team at Target plays a critical role in bringing Target's exclusive brands to life through thoughtful, trend-forward design that delivers exceptional style, quality, and value for guests. Designers are creative problem-solvers who translate consumer insights, cultural trends, and emerging innovations into products that resonate with guests. This role is on the Design team, offering the opportunity to create original, guest-focused products that inspire and delight by combining creativity, trend awareness, and technical expertise to develop designs that are both innovative and commercially successful. Working closely with Merchandising and Sourcing partners, you'll help shape product assortments that align with brand strategy, business goals, and guest expectations. You'll play a key role in ensuring consistency across product lines while bringing fresh ideas, new techniques, and compelling design solutions to market. As a Textile Graphic Designer for Cloud Island, Target's baby brand, you will own the design and development of original graphics, prints, and patterns that support the brand vision and assortment strategy for the baby business. Using both hand-rendered and digital design skills, you will create exclusive artwork that brings trend and storytelling to life in a way that is uniquely Target. In partnership with internal and external collaborators, you will guide artwork from concept through execution, ensuring designs are both creatively compelling and commercially viable. You'll research trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and draw inspiration from a variety of sources to develop relevant, guest-right design solutions. You'll also contribute to and present seasonal trend concepts, artwork direction, and textile assortment to Design and Merchandising partners. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
