Testing Technician (2:30PM-10:30PM) (IB3)
About The Position
The Test Technician is responsible for supporting the production line. This role involves the inspection and maintenance of engineering test equipment, tools, and server room assets. The technician will coordinate testing processes, including setting up new stations, prioritizing tasks, and conducting product testing. They will also be actively involved in the repair and fault analysis of failed test products, perform manual and electronic data recording, and provide production support and collaboration with test engineers. Key responsibilities include reporting issues to the direct supervisor and Engineering, performing additional installation tasks, monitoring server operations, and notifying Engineering about the depletion of spare parts. The technician is also responsible for the safe and undamaged use of tools and high-value components, ensuring their availability.
Requirements
- Minimum of High school education.
- Entry level position with interest in IT related field
- Proficiency in technical English.
- User-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft operating systems (including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016).
- Knowledge of computer networks.
- Strong technical orientation.
- Analytical thinking
- Detailed oriented
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Electronics hardware repair a plus
- Basic knowledge of IT fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Vlan, Switch, and Virtual Network is preferred
Responsibilities
- Inspection and maintenance of engineering test equipment, tools, and server room assets.
- Coordination of testing processes with active participation (e.g. setting up new stations, prioritizing tasks, product testing).
- Active involvement in the repair and fault analysis of failed test products.
- Manual and electronic data recording.
- Production support and collaboration with test engineers.

- Providing the Engineering Department with relevant information as needed (any issues must be reported to the direct supervisor and Engineering).
- Performing additional installation tasks.
- Monitoring of server operations.
- Timely notification to Engineering about the depletion of spare parts.
- Responsible for the safe and undamaged use of tools and high-value components, and for ensuring their availability.
