About The Position

The TEST & TRIALS WORKER-B position involves conducting Care & Protection surveys onboard vessels, maintaining accurate documentation of all C&P activities, responding to inquiries from ship management and trade supervisors, and identifying and collaborating on the correction of deficiencies found during surveys.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes and quality standards.
• Proficient in equipment protection best practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications as relates to equipment protection.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with management and personnel across all departments.
• Ability to work at heights.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of shrink wrapping, carpentry, crating or an equivalent combination of training and hands-on experience that demonstrates the required capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and completes Care & Protection surveys onboard vessels.
• Maintains accurate documentation and records of all C&P activities.
• Responds promptly to inquiries from ship management and trade supervisors regarding ongoing and planned C&P activities.
• Identifies deficiencies uncovered during surveys and collaborates with Ship Management teams to ensure timely and effective correction.
