Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required.
• Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred
• Experience in a test lab environment with exposure to several of the following areas: Instrumentation/Equipment: Pressure transducers, Multimeters, Milliohmeters, Hipot testers, Pulse Generators, Voltage and Current Supplies, Oscilloscopes (DAQs), Test Equity, Temperature Chambers, Instron Tensile testers
• Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency
• Intron Tensile tester programming (Bluehill Universal Software)
• Watlow F4 and F4T programming

Responsibilities

• Test evaluation, set-up and performance
• Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
• Test data reporting and plotting
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing.
• Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications.
• Test data will be generated to support customer requirements.
