About The Position

The Test Technician will be responsible for the production of indoor Test Cells. This role involves assisting in engine disassembly, repair, preparation for test, and de-preparation following approved instructions and practices. The technician will also help install engines in the test stand and set them up for testing, including special or slave systems. Additionally, the role requires assisting in the operation of current engine families according to approved work requests, ensuring engines operate within published limits, and maintaining good communication with support organizations and the team.

Requirements

Associate degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Must be available to work any of the following shifts: 1st Tue-Fri 5am-3:30pm, 2nd Tue-Fri 3pm-1:30am, 1st Sat-Mon 3am-3:30pm, 2nd Sat-Mon 3pm-3:30am
Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status
Ability to pass a drug screen

Nice To Haves

A&P Certification preferred
Engine experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to perform in a self-directed team environment
Knowledge of borescope
Preliminary Review approved
Designated Inspector
Knowledge of shipping/receiving
Engine test site operation
Equipment operation, ie fork truck, transporter & tug

Responsibilities
