About The Position

We're hiring an Engineering Test Technician for our Northwest Houston area client! We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented professional who is ready to interview immediately! DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Engineering Test Technician Location: Northwest Houston, TX Pay: $30 - $34/hour DOE Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Experience gathering, recording, and analyzing test data.
Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving measurements, percentages, and geometry.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing or testing environment.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with mechanical testing, oilfield equipment, downhole tools, manufacturing equipment, or similar industrial products preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support testing activities for engineering projects and product validation.
Prepare, organize, and set up equipment, tools, and fixtures required for testing operations.
Maintain testing schedules and ensure equipment is available and ready for upcoming projects.
Conduct performance, functionality, and validation testing on mechanical products and assemblies.
Document test results, collect data, and assist with report preparation and analysis.
Work closely with engineers and technical personnel to troubleshoot issues and recommend improvements.
Support laboratory operations, test setup, and execution of product evaluations.
Manage inventory of testing fixtures, tools, and related equipment.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
