Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Requires HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must pass the Certified Electronics Technician Associate (CETa) exam from Electronics Technicians Association – International (ETA-I).
  • Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift, with training on 1st shift for 4+ weeks.
  • Must have ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions.
  • Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Capability of working independently as well as in a group setting.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in fault isolation for test failures and verification of repairs while working with engineers to help determine data trends and improvements.
  • Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Collect, document, and report on tests performed.
  • Evaluate test results.
  • Ability to read complex electronic schematics, analyze circuits and follow written work instructions.
  • Employ a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Capability of working independently as well as in a group setting.
  • Must be able to lift/carry equipment or parts up to 25 lbs.
