Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in electronics or electrical engineering technology
  • Prior training with electrical equipment and testing procedures Read and understand one-line drawings, wire lists, and schematics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Understanding of delta-wye 3 phase transformer and resistive load bank technology

Responsibilities

  • Perform system tests, including IR and dielectric testing, and complete written test reports, logs and records
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems in complex systems
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to the component level
  • Assemble, set-up programs and perform functional tests on circuit boards
  • Organize work by receiving work requests; studying wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Testing systems and electrical components; determining cause of problems and requirements to solve problems
  • Use test equipment including digital meter, current meter, out of phase transformer, variance transformer resistive load bank, hi-pot tester, current clamp, computer, and infrared camera
  • Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and codes
