About The Position
Curtiss-Wright is seeking a Senior Test Technician to join its Sensors & Controls Division facility in Tempe, Arizona. Under general supervision, the technician performs relatively routine tasks related to testing raw materials, manufactured products, or manufacturing processes. The role uses established test procedures to investigate and analyze test failures, document and evaluate in-process rejections and trends, recommend corrective action as appropriate, and assist with predictability, manufacturing processing, equipment, and process improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Problem-solving skills and sound knowledge of appropriate testing methods.
- Comfort using industry-specific testing equipment.
- Knowledge of testing equipment maintenance.
- Understand the importance of product quality and compliance with health and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Use test procedures to investigate and analyze test failures.
- Document the review and evaluation of in-process rejections and trends, recommending corrective action as appropriate.
- Work with established test procedures.
- Provide assistance in predictability, manufacturing processing, equipment, and process improvement.
