About The Position

The Test Technician performs pre-calibration and calibration duties per product specifications, utilizing specialized pre-calibration software. All work is reviewed and certified by a Calibration Technician III or Higher. The role involves performing error-free production testing in an assigned area with limited cross-functional interface, measuring and recording data per work instruction requirements, and documenting nonconformance. The technician will provide daily support to meet production demand, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and assist other Calibration Technicians and departments as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings.
  • Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot cable assemblies.
  • Advanced reading, writing, and shop math skills.
  • Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope.
  • Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens.
  • IPC-A-620 certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be accurate and organized with high attention to detail
  • Good communication, reading, writing, and math skills
  • Knowledge of electronic principles
  • Must be a local candidate.
  • Must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.
