About The Position

Performs pre-calibration and calibration duties per the product specifications. Utilizes specialized pre-calibration software. All work reviewed and certified by a Calibration Technician III or Higher. Performs error-free production testing in an assigned area with limited cross-functional interface. Measures and records data per work instruction requirements and documents nonconformance. Provides daily support to meet the production demand. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Assists other Calibration Technicians and other departments, on an as-needed basis. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in electromechanical assembly
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings
  • Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot cable assemblies
  • Advanced reading, writing, and shop math skills
  • Experience soldering miniature parts under a microscope
  • Use of simple hand tools such as crimpers and ovens
  • IPC-A-620 certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be accurate and organized with high attention to detail
  • Good communication, reading, writing, and math skills
  • Knowledge of electronic principles
  • Must be a local candidate
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and will not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.
