Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience handling small, fragile optical components
- Strong hand–eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work under microscope and see fine details
- Basic computer/data entry skills (Excel, PC systems)
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
- Work in manufacturing/test environment with fiber assemblies
- Follow EHS and ISO quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001)

Responsibilities
- Work per standard operating procedures (SOPs) to assemble and test optical fibers
- Document manufacturing processes and test results
- Inspect fiber assemblies under microscope
- Conduct rework on assemblies/systems based on test outcomes
- Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and recommending solutions
- Support engineers in testing and development activities
- Cross-train in other production or test areas as needed
