About The Position
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Test Technician in Chelmsford, MA for a 6-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. The Test Technician will assemble and test electronic products, systems, subassemblies, and circuit boards in a production environment. This hands-on role includes electrical and RF testing, basic troubleshooting, test-data documentation, and collaboration with production, quality, and engineering teams. An interim Secret clearance is required before starting the position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting the position.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Ability to work from process instructions, work instructions, and test plans.
- Ability to accurately document test data and results.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and electronic test equipment.
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, subassemblies, and circuit boards.
- Use manual and automated test equipment.
- Follow process instructions, work instructions, and test plans.
- Use measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to verify product quality.
- Record accurate test data and results in test databases.
- Generate test reports.
- Assist with improving test procedures.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Support throughput and continuous-improvement activities.
- Assemble and test electronic products and systems in a production environment.
