Check us out on LinkedIn: Medtronic CST The Technician IV is responsible for overseeing the lab environment and test infrastructure used in the development, verification, and validation of a complex medical device. This includes supporting both hardware and software testing activities and ensuring teams have the tools and resources they need to execute effectively. In addition to core technician duties, this role manages all test assets (capital equipment, instruments, calibrated equipment), including mechanisms for tracking, locating, and reporting on equipment status. The Technician identifies equipment constraints, recommends and supports the purchase of new equipment, and ensures optimal utilization of lab resources. Technicians perform electromechanical testing, which may also be conducted as needed. This position works closely with the test engineering team in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.
