The Test Technician IV will be responsible for adhering to all ESD and Board Handling procedures, including Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements. This role involves identifying faulted components or manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards down to the component level for rework. The technician will read, interpret, and react to schematics for troubleshooting, and perform functional and boundary scan tests on printed circuit boards. A key requirement is RF experience. The position also includes running software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers, identifying and cleaning viruses or excessive fragmentation. The technician will support the production test operator training and certification program, assist with test engineering development projects, and participate in test process and station improvements, efficiencies, and safety initiatives. Creating accurate test reports detailing findings is essential. The role requires interfacing with other cross-functional departments and potentially customers. Data entry and tracking of yield/troubleshooting details in the Clarity application for tested and debugged assemblies is mandatory. Compliance with NEOTech standards and ISO procedures related to Quality Management Systems (quality, environment, health, safety, security) is required. The technician will also train production test debug technicians as requested and support all corporate and site 6S objectives. Other duties as assigned, including potential overtime and occasional Saturdays, may be required.
