The Test Technician II will be responsible for adhering to ESD and Board Handling procedures, including Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling. This role involves identifying faulted components and manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards, submitting them for rework, and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting. The technician will perform functional and boundary scan tests on printed circuit boards, requiring RF experience. Responsibilities also include running software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers, supporting production test operator training, and assisting with test engineering development projects. The role requires participation in test process and station improvements, creating test reports, and interfacing with cross-functional departments and potentially customers. Data entry and tracking of yield/troubleshooting details using the Clarity application are essential. The technician must comply with NEOTech standards and ISO procedures related to Quality Management Systems, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security. Training of production test debug technicians and support of corporate 6S objectives are also part of the role. Occasional overtime and Saturdays may be required.
