As an RF Production Technician II at CPI, you'll bring depth, precision, and hands-on expertise to a wide range of technical tasks, including operating and maintaining advanced RF and antenna test facilities, authoring RF test procedures, collecting and analyzing RF test data, and producing technical reports. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management to define and implement robust test strategies. You will perform diverse equipment and process operations, applying advanced skills across electrical, software, and manufacturing domains. You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and diagnose equipment, components, devices, and systems to meet high technical standards. You will also modify and debug tools and equipment, building from detailed drawings and schematics to support engineering prototyping and production needs. Additionally, you will document and conduct experiments under the guidance of technical leadership to refine designs and improve product functionality, analyze test data to identify cause-effect relationships, and recommend and help implement process improvements and corrective actions. You will support prototype development, including testing, adjusting, and assembling electromechanical systems, RF circuits, and specialized test apparatus. You will independently conduct RF tests both in a controlled lab setting and out on the test range using advanced RF instrumentation. You will build, troubleshoot, and repair electronic or electromechanical systems with a focus on feeds, modules, and mission-critical hardware. You will adjust and maintain RF and electronic systems based on schematics and engineering instructions and perform routine preventative maintenance to keep testing facilities and production hardware in peak operational condition.
