About The Position

CPI Electron Device Business is seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to perform a variety of technical assignments on complex high powered, and high voltage microwave transmitters and sub-assemblies. In this role, you will tune, test, and trouble shoot systems down to the component level with minimal directions from supervisors or engineers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment, possesses deep knowledge of RF components, and actively contributes to product improvement.

Requirements

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a self-starting mindset to resolve technical issues independently.
• Strong foundational knowledge of RF components, waveguides, and high-voltage systems.
• Proficiency with standard RF and microwave test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes).
• This role requires access to export-controlled information, subject to the ITAR and EAR, for which the company will not pursue an export license/license exception. Must be a US person (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals) to be eligible for this role.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET), military technical training, or equivalent experience preferred.
