The Test Technician II is primarily responsible for the testing/assembling of Medium Uncrewed Arial System products in our manufacturing facility, following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system. The role involves mechanical assembly of subassemblies, final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles, and testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies. The technician will work with other Production Technicians and Engineering to correct and improve documentation related to the assembly process, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities include following work order protocols, completing paperwork accurately, and potentially training other technicians. The role may also involve conducting in-process quality checks, collaborating with manufacturing engineers to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce costs, and validating assembly/fabrication documentation. The technician will follow established procedures for routine work and require instruction for new assignments, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position also supports new product development efforts where documentation is not finalized and works on semi-routine assignments.
