About The Position
Perform functional testing of liquid chillers. This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of chillers and facility equipment, ensuring the smooth functioning of the testing environment. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, liquid chilling units, and associated instrumentation. Participation in a Continuous Improvement Team is a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Working knowledge and a minimum of one year of operations, maintenance and repair experience in three phase electrical power distribution systems, transformers (208-4160 van).
- Experience with liquid chilling units from 150 to 2000 tons.
- Experience with cooling towers, pneumatic control valves, water pumps, motors up to 1200 hp.
- Experience with data instrumentation systems with pressure transducers, flow meters, resistance thermometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints (frequently).
- Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Must follow written and oral instructions.
- Vision corrected to 20/20.
- Must be able to read and perform high school level math or equivalent.
