About The Position

The Seasonal Test Stand Operator reports to the Administrative Services Manager and is a temporary position for the grape harvest season. This position performs general test stand sampling of grape trucks by operating a mechanically assisted sampling probe or back-up manual probe. This position is also responsible for cleaning and sanitizing test stand and test stand equipment. Seasonal position from appx. July - October or November. Additional Stay Pay Bonus opportunity for staying the entire harvest season!

Requirements

Must be 18 or older at the time of hire.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Ability to work any shift, particularly graveyard for the first couple of months and day shift. thereafter with minimal supervision.
Support and model all company procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

Sample grape trucks using sample probe.
Lifting heaving lug bins or buckets on conveyor for grape inspection.
Cleaning and sanitizing test stand and related equipment.
General housekeeping and cleaning tasks, to include sweeping, scooping up debris, washing of grounds or buildings, using power washer, and washing equipment.
