Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic scheduling/logistics software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Professional and reliable, with consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to handle confidential company information within regulatory guidelines.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime to support critical testing milestones.
  • Reliable on-site presence in Durango, CO (with partial remote work flexibility as approved).

Nice To Haves

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize competing needs across multiple test campaigns.
  • Experience with scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems, or other logistics/planning software (Deltek CostPoint experience preferred).
  • Background in logistics, test operations, or manufacturing planning preferred.
  • Understanding of staffing schedules, material lead times, and how they interact with testing campaigns.
  • Experience in vendor management, purchasing, and coordinating shipping/receiving of sensitive equipment.
  • Comfort working in a high-cadence, dynamic test environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication skills — able to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance in hazardous operations environments.
  • Ability to adapt to change and embrace new assignments as the site expands.
  • Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or chemical handling environments a plus.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain staffing schedules for test personnel to ensure adequate coverage across test stands.
  • Coordinate test campaign planning, including allocation of test stands, support resources, and alignment with program timelines.
  • Assist in facility scheduling to optimize test throughput and minimize conflicts between programs.
  • Support purchasing and vendor management, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services to support testing.
  • Assist with quoting and sourcing efforts, as requested, for transportation and in support of purchase requests.
  • Manage shipping and receiving of test hardware, propellants, and support equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Track consumables usage (e.g., nitrogen, diesel, propellants) and coordinate replenishment with vendors.
  • Manage and maintain the KanBan system at the test site, adding new items, establishing min/max, monitoring usage, and organizing the physical inventory at the test site.
  • Assist with documentation related to scheduling, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Interface with the Finance & Accounting team, providing long-term forecast information for propellant usage to support cash forecasting.
  • Provide feedback on vendor performance, logistical bottlenecks, and process improvements.
  • Participate in internal audits, perform cycle counts, and support compliance with safety and quality management systems.
  • Support test operations leadership.
  • Provide input for long-term planning for facility expansions and capability growth.
