About The Position

FORVIA HELLA is seeking its next great Test Resident Engineer to join our growing energy team. The primary function of this role is to provide testing and validation support for our next generation projects being developed and in production. This individual will be joining a well established group that is focused on future and current production generations. FORVIA - HELLA is a listed, internationally positioned automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting electronics testing in the automotive industry
  • Excellent experience supporting Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop testing, customer requirements, testing strategy, testing documentation
  • Knowledge of the automotive product development process

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on‑site technical interface between customer test teams and internal project teams for troubleshooting when requested
  • Utilize the HIL (Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop) bench test plans and test cases for investigations in timing matter to support development and failure analysis
  • Analyze customer test requirements and internal test specifications
  • Develop and execute test plans, methods, and validation strategies aligned with project and customer needs
  • Coordinate with global testing team all activities to ensure alignment and standardization of test methods
  • Track test progress, manage test samples (receipt, identification, tracking, storage, return, or disposal), and drive on‑time test completion
