The Boeing Company's Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a System Test Procedure Development Engineer (Mid-Level) to join their team in El Segundo, CA. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on successful spacecraft delivery. The engineer will be responsible for architecting, creating, and maintaining test procedures for advanced satellite systems used in commercial and national security programs. These tests are crucial for evaluating the functionality and performance of each spacecraft subsystem to ensure customer requirements are met. The position involves close collaboration with Systems Engineering, unit REAs, the Special Test Equipment (STE) team, and program management. Additionally, the role may require supporting system test operations on the factory floor, assisting with the execution of critical test procedures, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include developing storyboards to define test procedure architecture and methodology, creating test procedure documentation based on released requirements and storyboards, and developing automated test scripts. The engineer will also validate these scripts using simulators, emulators, test beds, and/or test equipment. Support for the development of test phase procedures for system-level tests is expected, along with maintaining test documentation, version control, and configuration management of test scripts. The role also involves supporting test setup, execution, data collection, analysis, and anomaly resolution during system-level tests.
