About The Position
The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test Procedure Development Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This role involves developing test procedures and scripts for space-based applications, supporting test execution, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the testing process.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 3+ years of experience with space-based applications for mechanical, electrical, RF, and/or digital subsystems
- 3+ years of experience in the use of electrical test equipment such as digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, vector network Analyzer and oscilloscope
- Experience with programming in C, C#, C++, Python and Visual Basic languages
- Experience in Tcl/Tk programming language
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
- Ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Responsibilities
- Develop story board that defines test procedure architecture and methodology
- Develop test procedure documentation based on released test requirements and story board
- Develop associating test scripts to automate test execution
- Validate test scripts against simulator, emulator, test bed, and/or test equipment
- Support the development of phase procedures for test phase execution
- Process recurring test procedure updates via change process
- Support test operation in the lab as required, which include but not limited to: execute tests, troubleshooting, evaluate test data, and archive test data and reports
