About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking a Test Planner I to support the Threat Support Management Office (TSMO) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This role involves advising government agencies on system capabilities, tactical emplacement, and personnel issues related to test events and training scenarios. The Test Planner will work onsite, performing basic maintenance, deployment, and operation of contract systems, communicating system capabilities and limitations, and conducting briefings and training sessions. SA-TECH is a DoD contractor specializing in range operations, weapons testing, facilities management, and cybersecurity, with a 34-year history of supporting complex DoD programs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma at a minimum.
  • Military service or experience working with military/government customers.
  • Experience in military or tactical field exercises.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS when needed.
  • Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.

Nice To Haves

  • Second-nature familiarity with military customs and courtesy.
  • U.S. military test exercise and field operation experience.
  • EW and RF experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advise TSMO and other government agencies on system capabilities, tactical emplacement considerations, and personnel issues as they relate to test-events or training scenarios.
  • Work onsite at the Fort Huachuca installation.
  • Responsible for basic maintenance, deployment, and operation of all systems on contract.
  • Communicate the capabilities and limitations of systems.
  • Conduct briefings and training sessions as assigned.
  • May need to travel to other related sites, both CONUS and OCONUS.
