About The Position

The Test Operator is responsible for testing Marki products including RF microwave components including modules, bare die, packaged parts and sub-assemblies. In this role you will take the lead to set up and calibrate test equipment, test production parts, troubleshoot issues and support testing of engineering samples as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred, or combination of education and relevant years of experience.
  • 2-5 years RF Microwave test and tuning experience.
  • Hands-on experience with some RF Microwave test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzer, Power Supply, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, etc.
  • Must have the ability to read and follow Schematics, Drawings, Bill of Materials, other Written and Verbal instructions.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with basic data analysis skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers, and customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and set-up test equipment- Vector Network Analyzer, Power Supply, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, etc.
  • Perform electrical tests on RF/microwave products and sub-assemblies.
  • Tune electrical performance to meet product specifications. This typically requires working under the microscope.
  • Perform inspection of products and verify documentation prior to testing.
  • Perform troubleshooting and provide feedback on product failures, testing issues, and inconsistent performance.
  • Work with the assemblers to rework underperforming or failing products, under supervisor’s or Engineering guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain discrepancy reports summarizing findings and recommend solutions to technical problems.
  • Provide training assistance to other technicians or test operators as needed.
  • Maintain test equipment, test station, and tools.
  • Engage in continuous product improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
