About The Position

The Test Operator II performs functional testing and basic troubleshooting on various electronic components and systems, ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-3 years of experience in electronics testing or a related technical field.
Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting test procedures and technical documentation.
Experience operating common test equipment (e.g., DMM, oscilloscope).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, using simple software applications).

Responsibilities

Execute standardized test procedures on electronic equipment, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Operate and monitor test equipment, including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and specialized testing fixtures.
Document test results accurately and completely, identifying and recording failures or discrepancies.
Perform basic troubleshooting to isolate issues identified during testing, following established guidelines.
Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to communicate test findings and assist in problem resolution.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide training and guidance to Test Operator I personnel as needed.
