About The Position

The Test Operations Strategy Manager owns and manages the long term strategic sourcing of critical test capacity supply chain. This role requires an experienced strategic thinker with technical expertise in Test, and who can navigate the complex global test supply chain challenges, influence senior corporate leadership, and develop as well as drive test capacity strategies that align with NXP’s operations roadmap and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials), Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 6 years of experience
• Masters’ Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials), Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years of experience
• More than 5 years of experience with Wafer Test or Final Test semiconductor manufacturing processes
• More than 3 years of experience with supply chain planning and strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to good ability to translate complex data and technical information to all levels
• Strong project management skills with experience working with cross-functional teams
• Good analytical skills and experience with complex data analysis to identify trends and conclusions
• Strong problem solving skills and risk assessment skills based on uncertain data

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal company stakeholders from Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Business Operations to define long-range Test sourcing strategies, with consideration of long term demand, capability, affordability, space, and product roadmaps.
• Review long term Wafer Test and Final Test strategic roadmaps and identify risks and opportunities, and prioritize resolution actions with internal partners to mitigate risks or capitalize opportunities.
• Review NXP’s long term Test technical roadmaps and requirements, and ensure alignment with Operations long term Test sourcing strategies.
• Summarize and ensure that all key stakeholders in the company are aware of the impact of product design decisions to sourcing, manufacturing, and capacity availability risks.
• Prepare the annual NXP corporate Long Term Plan (LTP) and Strategic Plan Alignment (SPA) Wafer Test and Final Test documentation to share with NXP Corporate Management Team for alignment to a shared corporate Wafer Test and Final Test Sourcing Strategy.
• Manage and monitor execution and sourcing of products and sourcing including capacity expansions to ensure alignment to the Long Term Plan.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on approved strategic projects to fulfill NXP’s long term sourcing strategies.
• Ability to identify forecast uncertainties and manage the uncertainties appropriately to achieve a robust long term plan.
