About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Test Operations Lead to own the hands-on side of test operations. The role ensures readiness for testing by building and verifying cables that connect systems, organizing and accounting for test materials, and coordinating logistics for people and equipment. The role also helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient lab. This is a field-facing position involving travel to test sites to set up and operate test computers, radars, cameras, and other sensor systems. The Test Operations Lead works closely with engineers and technicians to support tests from setup through teardown. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of test engineering experience, is comfortable with both hands-on workbench tasks and field work, maintains clean and well-documented work, and leads by example.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in Test Engineering.
Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting test cables and harnesses.
Experience operating test computers and sensor systems such as radars and cameras.
Experience organizing test materials, equipment, and lab spaces.
Strong logistics and coordination skills.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly for field testing.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and verify test cables and harnesses.
Organize, inventory, and maintain test materials and equipment.
Coordinate logistics for test events, including shipping, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
Help organize and maintain the lab so it remains safe, orderly, and efficient.
Travel to test sites to set up and operate test computers, radars, cameras, and other sensor systems.
Lead and support test teams during setup, execution, and teardown.
Document test configurations, procedures, and results.
