About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Test Operations Lead to own the hands-on side of test operations. The role ensures readiness for testing by building and verifying system cables, organizing test materials, and coordinating the logistics needed to get people and equipment where they need to be. The position also helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient lab. This is a field-facing position that involves travel to test sites to set up and operate test computers, radars, cameras, and other sensor systems. The Test Operations Lead works closely with engineers and technicians to support tests from setup through teardown. The ideal candidate is a seasoned test engineer with 10+ years of experience, is comfortable with both workbench and field work, documents work carefully, and leads by example.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in Test Engineering.
Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting test cables and harnesses.
Experience operating test computers and sensor systems such as radars and cameras.
Experience organizing test materials, equipment, and lab spaces.
Strong logistics and coordination skills.
Ability and willingness to travel regularly for field testing.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and verify test cables and harnesses.
Organize, inventory, and maintain test materials and equipment.
Coordinate logistics for test events, including shipping, scheduling, and equipment readiness.
Help organize and maintain the lab so it stays safe, orderly, and efficient.
Travel to test sites to set up and operate test computers, radars, cameras, and other sensor systems.
Lead and support test teams during setup, execution, and teardown.
Document test configurations, procedures, and results.
