About The Position

The Senior Test Manager will support a major USAF aircraft program at WPAFB, Ohio. The role is responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing test programs for critical aircraft systems and subsystems. It involves interaction with the USAF program office, DoD test organizations, and industry contractors. The work contributes to the combat readiness of the aircraft and its role as a strategic deterrent.

The position supports all phases of the Test and Evaluation (T&E) process, prepares and reviews test documentation, supports Integrated Test Team activities, evaluates test strategies and requirements, and assists the government with identifying and scheduling DoD test resources.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in T&E, including experience managing weapon system platforms, with at least 5 years of experience in DoD.
• Defense Acquisition T&E Level III Certification or equivalent proficiency.
• Experience in SPO test management, test program sets, test execution with test organizations, test resourcing, and/or policy at Major Command or Air Staff levels.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree with 18 years of experience or Master's degree with 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of the Test and Evaluation process, including design, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for aeronautical systems and subsystems.
• Prepare, maintain, and review critical T&E documentation, including the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), to ensure compliance and guide the program.
• Support Integrated Test Team activities and coordinate with test organizations, including the Combined Test Force, the Office of the Secretary of War, and operational testers.
• Assess test strategies, requirements, and objectives; identify and resolve issues affecting weapon-system performance, safety, interoperability, or capability; and recommend alternative approaches to the government.
• Assist the government in determining the availability of major DoD test resources and facilities and scheduling them to support program objectives.
