About The Position

This role focuses on assisting the agile team in defining testable work to ensure robust, high-performing, stable, and secure customer experiences. It involves promoting continuous improvement, identifying efficiencies to reduce test cycle time, and reviewing design documents and user stories to build test scenarios. The position requires owning and driving the automation strategy, frameworks, script development standards, automated execution, and reporting. Additionally, it involves proactively communicating risks and issues, ensuring defects are detected and prioritized, and supporting software and hardware requirements. The role also contributes to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) by sharing learnings and adhering to CoE standards.

Requirements

  • Strong script writing experience in automation tools like Selenium.
  • Good knowledge in testing practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the agile team to define testable work that ensures desired customer experiences and outcomes are achieved and are technically robust, high performing, stable and secure.
  • Promoting continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for efficiencies to maximize the customer experience and reduce test cycle time.
  • Reviewing design documents, business requirements (Stories), and acceptance criteria within the agile team to build test scenarios for testing activities.
  • Completely owning and driving the automation strategy, frameworks, script development standards, automated execution, and automation reports.
  • Pro-actively sharing and reporting risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and forthcoming tasks to the Scrum Master or Quality Manager.
  • Ensuring defects are detected and reported to be prioritized (based on impact) with the Product Owners.
  • Providing support in highlighting software and hardware requirements to ensure proficient delivery of your role.
  • Actively contributing to their Centre of Excellence (CoE) specialism by cross sharing of learnings, emerging, good and best practice with their CoE colleagues.
  • Complying where required with CoE standards & policies.
