Test Engineering Intern
About The Position
This internship role focuses on designing and implementing automated tests and test infrastructure, participating in technical reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing change requests, and supporting global manufacturing test systems. The intern will help build robust, scalable testing frameworks, contribute to reviews of product requirements and test plans, solve complex engineering challenges, and assist in troubleshooting and maintaining test stations across global sites. Additionally, the role involves developing user-friendly hardware interfaces and creating support documentation such as service manuals and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
- Zero (0) years of related experience
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Prior internship experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure
- Collaborate with the team to build robust, scalable testing frameworks that ensure product reliability and performance
- Participate in technical reviews
- Contribute to reviews of product requirements, test plans, and implementation strategies to ensure alignment with engineering standards and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work alongside software, hardware, and manufacturing teams to solve complex engineering challenges and drive product improvements
- Analyze change requests
- Evaluate proposed changes by assessing their impact on testing procedures, timelines, and overall product quality, ensuring smooth integration into development cycles
- Support global manufacturing test systems
- Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, and deploying test stations across global sites
- Develop user-friendly hardware interfaces and comprehensive support documentation such as service manuals and troubleshooting guides
