Job Type On Site Job Summary Performs Test System and Electro-Mechanical Fixture development, documentation, research, studies, and limited design work as assigned by Test Engineering in the Operations Engineering Department. Functions as support personnel for Test Engineering.

Requirements

  • Requires High School Diploma and active enrollment in an education program of an accredited university.
  • Must be currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Field (Electronic/Electrical preferred) and have completed the first full year of study.
  • Have a basic understanding of electricity, electrical circuits, and electronic components.
  • Sufficient verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to use test equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Software development and programming skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of PCB layout tools is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Test System and Electro-Mechanical Fixture development, documentation, research, studies, and limited design work as assigned by Test Engineering in the Operations Engineering Department.
  • Functions as support personnel for Test Engineering.
  • Work with and support the Test Engineering team on a variety of projects and applications.
  • Works on assignments with close supervision.
  • All work output is supported and reviewed by a member or members of Test Engineering.
  • Potential use of small hand and/or power tools, and basic soldering.
