About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer (Skill Level 1) to support planning, development, execution, analysis, and documentation of test and evaluation activities for mission-critical government systems and programs. The role analyzes system requirements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), acquisition plans, and technical system descriptions to develop test plans, evaluation procedures, and performance assessment methods. It supports collection, management, and analysis of test data to assess system effectiveness, suitability, operational readiness, and compliance with performance requirements. The Test Engineer collaborates with systems engineers, government stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and integrated test teams to coordinate testing, identify performance risks, evaluate system capabilities, and report results. The position supports structured testing in complex operational environments and requires a foundation in engineering principles, statistical analysis, test planning, data collection, and technical documentation. Candidates must meet one of the stated education and experience combinations: a relevant bachelor's degree and two years of similar Test Engineer experience, or the specified experience-substitution pathway. An active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required, and the employee must maintain applicable clearance and program access requirements. The position offers an hourly pay range of $51.79–$70.13; actual compensation varies based on factors including contract rates, qualifications, and location. Wyetech describes its corporate culture as award-winning and offers employee benefits and opportunities to work across supported contracts and locations.
