Wyetech•Fort Meade, MD
•$78 - $105

About The Position

Wyetech is seeking a Skill Level 1 Software Engineer to support the design, development, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of complex software systems for mission-critical government programs. The role develops and maintains solutions that may include processing-intensive analytics, advanced algorithms, large-scale data processing, real-time applications, and business management information systems. The engineer works independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and scalable software based on documented system and mission requirements. The position spans the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software architecture, application development, debugging, testing, integration, and technical documentation. It requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and U.S. citizenship. Candidates must qualify through one of the stated education and experience combinations: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus seven years of relevant experience, or the specified experience-substitution pathway totaling eleven years of relevant software engineering experience. Employees must maintain applicable clearance and program access requirements. The stated hourly pay range is $77.74–$105.27. Wyetech describes its employee experience as including a SEP IRA contribution, paid time off, optional benefit plans for eligible full-time employees, referral bonuses, mobility among supported contracts, team events, and other employee offerings.
