About The Position

AnaVation is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our growing team and support an exciting, mission-critical work program. The selected candidate will develop and execute test plans and test cases; perform both manual and automated testing; identify, document, and track bugs and issues; and develop and maintain testing scripts and tools. The Test Engineer will work as part of a high performing technical team alongside operational end-users to ensure the testing being performed meets operational requirements and to identify potential issues before they impact end-users.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related field. Relevant training, certifications, and work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree at the customer’s discretion.
3 years of relevant work experience performing software testing (manual and automated).
Experience programming in Python, scripting, and/or using Python for automated test pipelines.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing test plans.
Experience developing and maintaining testing scripts and tools.
Active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph.

Nice To Haves

In-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems.
Knowledge of DevOps best practices.
Experience with forensic analysis a plus.
