About The Position

The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic systems and components. This role involves close collaboration with the team to troubleshoot and resolve test-related issues, and to support the development and integration of new test systems and procedures. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and may require up to 20% overtime annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related technical discipline from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience.
  • Experience with common electronic test equipment and schematic reading
  • Ability to implement test requirements based on standard test methodologies and technological solutions
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot root cause for system level failures down to component level
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge / experience with electronic circuits, automated test software, manufacturing processes, and the manufacturing test environment
  • Familiarity creating test procedures based upon test requirements
  • Utilization of statistical data analysis as required for test planning
  • Knowledge/experience with ESS testing in the areas of CCA and Sub assemblies utilizing thermal chambers and vibe tables.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and CVI
  • Experience with NI products, specifically TestStand and LabVIEW

Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining test documents, including test plans, procedures, and scripts
  • Coordinating system resources to support testing, including equipment, software, and personnel
  • Executing test procedures and analyzing test results to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Supporting test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required
  • Working with the team to develop and implement new test methodologies and technologies
  • Supporting off-hours testing and associated projects as needed
