Space Force - Test Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)
About The Position
The Space Force Integration Engineer position, a member of the Development Integration Test (DIT) Team, requires an active Secret clearance and experience with system integration and verification, preferably including ground-system testing. Candidates should have software integration experience, the ability to analyze and break down requirements, and experience developing test plans and test procedure documents. Utilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, you’ll prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and complete specifications and procedures throughout the engineering development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required at time of hire
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with system integration and verification
- Software integration experience
- Ability to analyze and break down requirements
- Experience developing test plans and test procedure documents
- Proficient knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
- Minimum of 5+ years working with satellite operations and ground operations systems required
- U.S. citizenship is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ground-system testing
- Minimum of 15+ years of software integration expertise preferred
- Minimum of 10+ years of recent Linux experience preferred
