About The Position

We are seeking a Test Engineer to support product testing, validation, and process improvement for consumer electronics components. This role will focus on developing and maintaining test systems, improving yield, and ensuring product quality in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electronic testing, failure analysis, and production support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in test engineering or manufacturing test environment
• Experience with electronic testing, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consumer electronics or glass/optical component manufacturing
• Familiarity with ATE (Automated Test Equipment)
• Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and quality control methodologies
• Experience with failure analysis tools (microscopy, X-ray, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus
• Experience working with cover glass, touch panel, or display-related products
• Understanding of surface treatment, coating, or optical inspection processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test procedures for new and existing products
• Support production testing systems (functional test, reliability test, automation test)
• Analyze test data to identify yield issues, defects, and root causes
• Work with cross-functional teams (process, quality, manufacturing) to drive continuous improvement
• Perform failure analysis (FA) and provide corrective actions
• Assist in test equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
• Improve test efficiency, coverage, and stability in mass production
• Document test results, processes, and technical reports
