  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering specifications, technical drawings, and written procedures.
  • Strong electronics troubleshooting and soldering skills.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn RF test equipment, including vector network analyzers (VNAs).
  • Ability to work with precision hardware and small components, including microscope-assisted tasks.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a production-oriented environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn and develop new technical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing, calibrating, or troubleshooting RF and microwave components or assemblies.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency electronics, RF measurement techniques, and test equipment.
  • Experience operating benchtop CNC equipment.
  • Proficiency in soldering, electronic rework, and test fixture construction.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other mechanical drafting software.
  • Knowledge of magnetic circuits, electromagnetic design, or thermal and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, precision assembly, or production testing.
  • Experience developing test procedures and technical documentation for repeatable manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-frequency vector network analyzers (VNAs) to test, calibrate, and verify RF hardware against technical specifications.
  • Perform advanced soldering, electronic troubleshooting, component rework, and hardware repair.
  • Operate a benchtop CNC machine to support production and test-related activities.
  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, and improving fixtures used for RF testing and manufacturing.
  • Assist manufacturing personnel with precision assembly, inspection, and rework using a microscope.
  • Use AutoCAD to create, modify, and maintain mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Understand, evaluate, and optimize magnetic circuits.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues, resolve test failures, and maintain consistent product quality.
  • Develop, update, and maintain standardized test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation for high-volume production.
  • Follow established procedures, interpret engineering specifications, and identify opportunities to improve testing methods, fixtures, and production processes.
